'Wodwo' boots. I adapted newly bought shoes that were comfortable for the actor and resilient for a tour - building the shoes up and layering with wool for a homemade, 'folk' style.
'Elja' dress. Sourced a white ladies' shirt and made sewing detail down the front with buttons and string for homemade, "folky" style, stained for age.
Finding a way to make the tree tour-able was important and therefore inspired the 3-part design. The drum is used throughout the show and therefore works as a great base, the middle section is a long moulded tube and the branches are able to detach from it.

'Crab' boots. Adapting these boots by adding the bottom design instantly turned them from usual modern "day" boots to a good snow pair.
'Narwhale' boots. New shoes were bought to fit the actor, very comfortable and resilient for a long tour. A woolly design was built up and around for young character.
